The memorial Bulgakov museum is located in the legendary flat 50 on Bolshaya Sadovaya, 10 where he lived in 1921-1924. This place is considered to be the real prototype for the “wicked flat” from his world famous “Master and Margarita” novel, where the Great Satan’s Ball took place. This haunted house is wrapped in mystery and legends and after the publication of the novel its destiny has changed forever. For example, in the 30th the inhabitants of this flat really began to vanish. The museum’s exhibition includes a richest collection of items connected both with Bulgakov and the epoch he lived in. apart from the major exposition, various exhibitions, excursions and concerts takes place here.
