Booking a venue in Moscow from abroad is mostly a communication problem, not a shortage problem: the city has an enormous stock of conference floors, lofts and exhibition space, but the good sites publish in Russian and answer fastest in messengers. Here is how the market is organised in 2026 and which venues to shortlist for each format.
Conferences and exhibitions
- Expocentre (Krasnaya Presnya embankment, expocentr.ru) — the city's main exhibition complex, next to the Moscow City towers; pavilions scale from a seminar room to a trade-show hall, and international events have run here for decades;
- World Trade Center Moscow (wtcmoscow.ru) — congress halls plus offices and a hotel on one riverside campus; the standard choice for business forums with foreign delegations;
- VDNH — the exhibition park in the north of the city rents out its historic pavilions and modern congress spaces; nothing else in Moscow gives an event this much architecture.
Meetings and corporate offsites
- Business hotels remain the workhorse: the conference floors of the big hotels around Tverskaya and in Moscow City handle everything from a 10-person board meeting to a 300-seat product launch, with catering in-house. Note that many carry different names than pre-2022 guides suggest — the buildings and teams stayed, several international brands left;
- Moscow City towers — panoramic event floors high in the skyscrapers are the premium option for receptions; views do the decorating for you;
- Near the airport: if delegates fly in and out the same day, the hotels at Sheremetyevo — including one connected directly to the terminals — offer conference rooms without anyone entering the city. For most other purposes, an airport venue saves less time than a hotel on the Aeroexpress line into town.
